Nikki Coverdale

Managing Director

Nikki has worked in Financial Services for over 25 years, starting her career at General Accident and working in various customer services departments, included Protection New Business, Pensions Existing Business and then as a PA to the Head of New Business, Underwriting and Claims.

In 2009 she set up a Virtual Assistant business supporting Independent Financial Advisers and as the demand for support grew, she decided to re-brand in 2017 to become ‘The IFA PA’, at which point she then started to grow the team.

Nikki’s role in the business has changed significantly over the years and she loves to find new talent to bring into the team and to support each team member in their development. She firmly believes that if you look after your team well, they in turn will look after your clients.

Nikki lives in York with her husband, teenage daughter and two cats. Whilst she doesn't think she can sing particularly well, she does enjoy being part of a pop choir as she finds it relaxing and invigorating. Nikki loves to socialise with family and friends as much as she enjoys a quiet, cosy weekend in.

Katie Whitworth

IFA Administrator

Katie previously worked virtually for a national IFA group and prior to that, spent 20 years as a PA to a CEO of a large public authority. Her virtual PA skills are a perfect complement to her knowledge of pensions and investments and she thrives on client review preparation work.

Katie is a very steady, reliable and much loved member of the team. Her favourite job is in the data gathering of policy information and chasing down the providers!

Rachel Lewis

Rachel has over 21 years' experience of working in financial services and 4 of these 21 years were spent working for a wealth company gaining experience specifically on protection, pensions and investments.

Rachel is very hard working and passionate about the job that she does. She loves having variety in her day-to-day job and finds that working as an IFA administrator definitely provides her with that.

In her spare time, she loves learning about history and planning for her next vacation, where her aim is to visit all the different Greek islands.

Ingrid Happel

Ingrid has over 35 years' experience working with clients in the Netherlands. After a long career working for the Dutch equivalent of the Crown Prosecution Service and local authorities, she moved to the UK.

In the UK, she has previously worked for an Individual Financial Adviser as a Business Service Manager for 9 years. Ingrid prides herself in getting the best service to clients within the required time frame. She is passionate about streamlining processes and procedures to ensure an effective and efficient way of working.

Ingrid is based in Nottinghamshire with her husband and 2 dogs. She loves cooking, reading and bird watching. In her spare time, she loves travelling to remote and quiet places like the Scottish Highlands and the North Cape in Norway.

Clare Vine

Throughout her career, she has supported Advisers with all aspects of administration and takes great pride in delivering a high standard of service. Clare is passionate about putting clients at the heart of everything she does and ensuring the Advisers she supports have everything they need to provide an exceptional client experience.

Clare lives in West Sussex with her husband. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and catching up with close friends.

Suzy Consterdine

Suzy has over 12 years’ experience working in Financial Services, both as a Senior Pensions Administrator for a large multinational company where she completed her Qualification in Pensions Administration, and as an IFA Administrator specialising in Pensions, Investments and Protection.

A conscientious and professional person, she is highly organised and thrives on being able to help advisers to free up their time and enable their business to run smoothly.

In her spare time, Suzy enjoys cooking and walking in the Yorkshire Dales.

Elly Church

Elly has worked in financial services since 2011, and has studied for multiple exams and gained a wealth of knowledge which has allowed her to excel in her various roles. She prides herself on her organisational skills and putting processes in place to help achieve maximum productivity for her Advisers and their clients.

Elly is based in Shropshire with her young family. She is a keen cook and prides herself on creating and making nutritious dishes for her family. In her spare time, Elly likes to practice yoga and Pilates and goes on adventures with her husband and son by exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Mhairi Sullivan

Mhairi brings 20 years of experience in Financial Services to The IFA PA. Her career began in Marketing and Market Research, starting as an Office Junior and progressing to PA to the Managing Director. She then advanced to Client Account Manager with two international technology firms before embarking on her Financial Services journey.

She enjoys helping streamline processes to provide efficient and compliant customer service to sole traders and larger advisory firms from start to finish through their clients journey.

Mhairi lives in Scotland with her boyfriend and their dog Lola and has two grown children who have flown the nest already. They enjoy travelling, socialising, F1 racing, fast cars and she enjoys the balance between dedicated effort and enjoying life's pleasures.

Sarah Newlyn

IFA & Mortgage Administrator

She is known for being highly organised, calm under pressure, and committed to delivering a smooth, reliable service for both clients and Advisers. She enjoys playing a part in keeping operations running efficiently, anticipating needs, supporting the team, and helping create an environment where everyone can focus on what they do best.

Sarah lives in Oxfordshire with her cat and enjoys staying active through regular exercise. She loves spending time with her partner, his two children, and her family and friends. She enjoys unwinding with a great series and never misses an opportunity to binge something new.

Emily Richardson

IFA Administrator & Project Co-Ordinator

Emily has over 7 years’ experience in Financial Services working as an IFA Administrator and Junior Paraplanner and has completed CII exams R01 and R05, as well as growing her skills in marketing and social media.

Emily thrives on providing excellent customer service to both advisers and their clients. As a meticulous planner, she does all that she can to help clients utilise their time appropriately. She also has a love for learning new systems and putting in place the processes to seamlessly support her adviser clients.

In her spare time, Emily loves attending music concerts and visiting beaches along the North Yorkshire coast with her cockapoo, Marcy.

Ella Smith

Ella is based on the North York Moors with her young family. She enjoys Reformer Pilates and coffees with close friends.

Kay Sullivan

Kay has over 4 years’ experience supporting Financial Advisers with a wide range of administration duties. She particularly enjoys the process-driven side of mortgage administration and takes pride in providing organised and efficient support to both Advisers and clients.

Kay lives in Sunderland with her family and outside of work, she loves spending quality time with her three children, friends and family, and also enjoys relaxing with a good book.
