What was the situation that made you want to work with The IFA PA?
We started using The IFA PA in early 2022 as we needed to free up time spent on administrative and paraplanning tasks in order to ensure that we could deliver ongoing services to our clients.
How did The IFA PA solve your problem?
One of the great things about The IFA PA is that you are engaging with a firm, and an allocated person who is highly trained in financial services, that is familiar with the tools and back-office systems you use so you can hit the ground running without the need to train and explain. Obviously, there is some initial time required to ‘bed in’ and establish the systems and processes your firm use and how you work, the culture etc., but as you are dealing with extremely well-trained IFA-specific administrators this is a very quick process and indeed our appointed PA continues to offer excellent ideas based on her experience and also from her work with other like-minded IFA firms.
Our PA has a great deal of experience and has worked with our firm to enable us to enhance and speed up the process of what we do on a daily basis. Introducing a new workflow platform (Asana) has meant that we can easily co-ordinate tasks remotely and monitor progress with cases and client work and keep track of exactly what needs to be done.
How has your life changed since working with The IFA PA? Would you recommend us to people who were hesitating in outsourcing their Financial Services administration?
The IFA PA has assisted greatly in developing a process that works specifically for our business. They are great to work with, highly professional, and we have confidence in them to deal directly with clients by phone and/or email. It now feels like our PA has become part of the team and is not simply an ‘outsourced administrator’ and that has been a very welcome addition. This personal, yet professional, approach was evident from our first meeting with Nikki and subsequently our PA. The collaborative nature of this relationship is helping us to deliver ongoing services to our clients, improve day-to-day administration, and achieve the ongoing objectives of our business.
