What was the situation that made you want to work with The IFA PA?
We were aware that we were struggling with time to prepare and gather information to do the client annual reviews. Initially, we were looking to recruit another member of staff, however when we first spoke to The IFA PA, outsourcing felt like a much better approach for us. It has saved us time and money.
How did The IFA PA solve your problem?
The IFA PA completes our compliance checks for clients before the annual review starts, and then collects the information required for the review. This is then put into our pre-review letter. After the review is completed, our PA helps to complete a personal financial update form, which we then send to our client. This has made it much easier for us to be able to do reviews.
The team use a task management system called Asana, and we quickly adopted this. We think it is great, miles better than our current back-office system! The two are used together to satisfy our compliance requirements with our network.
How has your life changed since working with The IFA PA? Would you recommend us to people who were hesitating in outsourcing their Financial Services administration?
It’s given us the ability to complete a lot of work which was causing us real worries. The team provide a pseudo compliance role, but in a friendly way! They help us to make sure we do everything we need to by having an external perspective. I would absolutely recommend, but I wouldn’t want others to find out our secret!
Our PA has surprised us by how good she has been, and how she has taken to the work. She has worked very well with our team, and she has been able to help us to develop the work we do, coming up with helpful suggestions in a pro-active way. I was a bit concerned that remote working would be difficult but she has ensured that it has been straightforward.
